Care for Creatives is a partnership between the DC Creative Affairs Office (CAO) and the George Washington University Community Counseling Services Center (CCSC) to provide pay-what-you-can mental health services to area creatives.

How It Works:
Creatives who reach out to the CCSC will be matched with a counseling intern to support them through a short-term, solution-oriented therapy approach. All services are confidential and provided in-person at our Foggy Bottom location or via telehealth to DC residents

How It Came About:
This partnership was developed following the COVID-19 pandemic due to the need to support the mental health needs of those in creative industries. Since then, we have continued to maintain this partnership with the DC CAO to support the mental health of the creative community and to provide space for creatives to frame a foundation of wellness.
